The Junior Deacon is an officer who helps look after the entrance to the lodge room and assists with the flow of the meeting. He carries messages at the direction of the Worshipful Master and Senior Warden and helps escort members or visitors when needed. In this role he supports security, order, and decorum so that the lodge’s meetings proceed smoothly and without interruption.
