The Chaplain is the lodge officer who offers prayers and moments of reflection at appropriate times during meetings and ceremonies. He promotes an atmosphere of respect, gratitude, and moral awareness that is open to men of many different faith traditions. In this role he helps remind the lodge of its spiritual and ethical foundations while never promoting any particular religion.
